How playback works
Drill asks a third-party resolver (tikwm.com) for a temporary media link and plays it in one audio element, so the lock screen and car controls stay attached. The next sound is looked up while this one plays. Dead or expired links are refreshed once, then skipped. Your place in the queue is saved on this device, so reopening Drill brings back the same sound at the same second. Nothing is stored on a server. Your queue lives on this device.
